At GARDENA maximum user comfort is at the heart of all products designed. 2025 sees the introduction of upgraded sustainable cutting tools that now features even more power and sharpness.

The new range of GARDENA secateurs includes seven different models. While the bypass secateurs ensure accurate and clean cuts of young shoots and fresh wood, the two anvil secateurs help to cut woody and dry branches and twigs.

Hardly any tool is picked up as regularly as secateurs. They are in use almost all year round and are indispensable for plant care. This is precisely why garden owners appreciate long-lasting secateurs that cut powerfully and reliably while being comfortable to hold. The new blades of the GARDENA secateurs feature an innovative PowerCoating for powerful cutting tasks.

Powerful, precise cutting

Depending on the model, the new GARDENA powerhouses can be used to cleanly separate branches with a diameter of 20 millimetres to 24 millimetres. The GARDENA secateurs' powerful cuts are ensured by the precision-ground blades made of high-quality steel, produced from exclusive alloy. In addition, the blades are coated with PowerCoating. This specially developed coating creates a smoother surface and reduces friction as the blades slide through the branches. The new coating also protects the blades against corrosion and resin. Plant residues can also be removed more easily.

No doing things by halves, even in terms of comfort

Secateurs should not only cut accurately, but also be comfortable to hold. The best possible comfort for effortless use is therefore part of the high quality standards of all GARDENA secateurs. With their ergonomically shaped handles, they are particularly comfortable to hold and enable fatigue-free working – even during demanding gardening work.

Depending on the model, the cutting or grip width can be set for different cut sizes and for different hand sizes. A durable stainless steel spring, which is mounted on the inside of the PremiumCut Pro models, provides the springback. This prevents it from becoming dirty or lost. A buffer between the handles also protects the wrist. The single-handed safety lock enables the secateurs to be easily closed and stored after use.

The fibreglass-reinforced handles are particularly robust. Depending on the model, they are made of more than 45 percent recycled plastic. Particularly clever: The new GARDENA secateurs can be fully dismantled for easy cleaning and maintenance. This also extends the life span of the secateurs.

GARDENA has been proving its real cutting expertise since 1975. Passionate gardeners notice this with every cut. The same will be guaranteed in future thanks to continuous development and equipment with new, clever product features. All secateurs are made in Germany and offer warranty of up to 25 years for the secateurs, depending on the model¹.
