The GARDENA smart Dual Water Control enables individual watering of two separate garden areas.
DuoConnect – easy to use via app and clever upgrade
As standard, the new models can be conveniently programmed via the free GARDENA Bluetooth App1 from a distance of up to ten metres. For example, individual watering schedules can be created quickly and easily there.
If garden owners want to access their irrigation controls from anywhere and enjoy extended functions, the products can be integrated into the GARDENA smart system with the smart Gateway (available separately): The schedules are then created in the free GARDENA smart App1. There, information on plant-specific water requirements can be consulted from a plant library for irrigation planning. In addition, parameters such as local weather forecasts and sunrise and sunset times can be considered in the GARDENA smart App. In addition, the GARDENA smart system products can be integrated into smart home platforms such as Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home.
Sensor-controlled casting
Optionally, the irrigation controls that are integrated into the GARDENA smart system can be connected to a GARDENA smart Sensor. This measures the moisture in the soil; if the soil is moist enough, the upcoming watering is suspended and unnecessary watering is avoided.
Automatic irrigation of up to two garden areas
The GARDENA smart Water Control model has one programmable water outlet, while the GARDENA smart Dual Water Control has two outputs – depending on whether the garden owner wants to irrigate one or two independent garden areas separately and automatically. The smart Dual Water Control is suitable for garden areas with different irrigation needs.
Reliable features
The high-quality valve ensures a reliable water supply even at a water pressure of up to 12 bar. The Safe Stop technology checks before watering whether there is still enough battery charge available to close the valve again after watering. If there is a sudden change in weather, the GARDENA smart App sends a frost warning1 before temperatures drop, so that the device is not damaged.
Intelligent control for the GARDENA Pipeline System
The GARDENA Pipeline System is an underground, permanently installed water network that conveniently supplies all areas of the garden with water. GARDENA Pipeline can be connected to mobile or automatic products for irrigation. The system is easy to plan and can be flexibly adapted to all garden sizes and needs. In this underground pipeline system, the new GARDENA smart Pipeline Water Control takes over automatic irrigation. This allows the pipeline to function like an intelligent control centre that automatically directs water to the desired places in the garden that are connected to the irrigation control – for example, to beds or hedges. The water control can be operated via the GARDENA Bluetooth App or the GARDENA smart App.
